Mount Rinjani One Day Trek – Senaru Crater Rim Adventure (2,641 m)

DESTINATION

senaru crater rim

The Rinjani One Day Trek via Senaru is a fast-paced and physically demanding adventure, designed for trekkers who want to experience Mount Rinjani in a single day without overnight camping. This program reaches the Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m) and returns to Senaru Village within the same day.

Starting and finishing in Senaru Village, the trek follows the classic Senaru rainforest route, ascending steadily through dense tropical forest rich in vegetation and wildlife. Despite its short duration, the elevation gain is significant, making this trek a true endurance challenge. Trekkers aim to reach the crater rim around sunrise, when the views are at their most dramatic.

From the Senaru Crater Rim, trekkers are rewarded with sweeping panoramas over Segara Anak Lake, Mount Barujari, and the surrounding volcanic landscape. On clear mornings, distant views toward Bali and the Gili Islands may also be visible, offering a powerful sense of achievement after the intense ascent.

This program is best suited for experienced hikers or individuals in excellent physical condition who are comfortable with long, continuous climbs and steep terrain. While short in time, the One Day Senaru Trek delivers a serious mountain challenge, making it an ideal option for those with limited time who still want a raw and rewarding Mount Rinjani experience.
